Get answers to common questions about Exfoliation Glow Facial.
The Exfoliation Glow Facial includes your choice of dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, or dermal infusion, plus a deep steam cleanse, light extractions, mini peel, and LED light therapy. Treatments typically last about 60 minutes and are customized to your skin’s needs.
Dermaplaning suits dry or peach-fuzz-prone skin, microdermabrasion targets texture and congestion, and dermal infusion hydrates while delivering serums. Your esthetician will assess skin concerns during consultation and recommend the safest, most effective option.
Mild redness or warmth is common but usually fades within a few hours to 48 hours. Microdermabrasion or a peel may cause slightly longer sensitivity. We provide personalized aftercare instructions to minimize downtime and soothe the skin.
Frequency depends on the chosen technique and skin goals. Generally, treatments every four to six weeks support cell turnover. For intensive concerns, a tailored series may be recommended; maintenance sessions help preserve radiance and results long-term.
Many exfoliation options are safe during pregnancy, but certain peels and strong actives are avoided. Always disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding status so we can tailor a gentle, effective protocol and choose appropriate modalities.
You can usually wear light makeup after treatment if your skin feels calm, but we recommend waiting several hours and applying gentle, non-comedogenic products. Prioritize SPF and avoid heavy coverage for the first 24 hours to protect freshly exfoliated skin.
