Get answers to common questions about Microdermabrasion Body Resurfacing.
Yes, many sensitive clients can benefit with modified settings and a patch test. We customize intensity, use a calming enzyme mask and soothing serums, and recommend a consultation to ensure safe, comfortable treatment and optimal results.
Treatment frequency depends on the concern; many clients notice improvement after one to three sessions. Deeper texture issues or stubborn discoloration typically require four to six sessions, scheduled weeks apart, to achieve optimal, lasting results.
Most clients experience mild, temporary discomfort like light scratching or warmth. Post-treatment redness or sensitivity can occur but usually subsides within hours to a day; we apply calming serums and aftercare to minimize discomfort.
We target legs, back, butt, arms and other localized areas showing roughness or discoloration. Treatments are tailored per area to address texture, keratosis pilaris, uneven tone, and build softer, more even skin.
Avoid aggressive exfoliation, retinoids, or sun exposure for several days before treatment. Arrive with clean, moisturized skin and inform us of medications, recent procedures, or skin conditions so we can adjust treatment safely.
Keep treated skin hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure and use broad-spectrum SPF. Skip hot baths, harsh scrubs, and intense workouts for 48 hours; apply recommended serums and moisturizers to support healing and prolong improvement.
